In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and an integral part of the daily operations. We’re seeking a seasoned Customer Service Representative who combines technical know-how with internal sales skills. You’ll receive comprehensive on-the-job training and work within a collaborative team dedicated to helping you succeed.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations within set timeframes.
  • Provide technical product information and support. 
  • Serve customers at the counter with professionalism and care when required. 
  • Investigate tenders and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, deliveries, and credit.
  • Support Sales Team with reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in sales promotions and assist with branch administration.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training.
  • Liaise with purchasing to ensure stock availability.

 

We are ideally looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in customer service preferably in engineering or industrial sector would be advantageous, but we also welcome candidates from other industries.
  • Computer literate, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP system. 
  • You are solution-focused and resilient under pressure.
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to tackle various tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a well-presented, professional manner.
  • The ability to work proactively, using initiative while knowing when to seek support
  • Desire to always improve the quality of the service given by yourself with a thirst for knowledge
  • Potential and desire to develop and grow within a supportive Company
