Job Description

About the role:

We have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our busy team at our  Te Rapa branch. This role would suit an outgoing and enthusiastic person who wants to get their foot in the door with a stable and supportive company.

Responsibilities:

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, finding effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure timely and accurate order processing, managing inventory availability, and coordinating shipments to meet customer requirements.
  • Handle quoting and input orders seamlessly into our system.
  • Assisting in stocktakes and stock transfers.
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls and responding to customer enquiries in an effective and timely manner.
  • Attending to customers at the counter.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Previous customer service experience ideally in engineering or similar industries
  • A strong desire to learn, continuously improve, and take responsibility
  • The willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into whatever tasks are needed
  • Physically fit and well presented with excellent communication skills
  • Have a proactive approach to work – you use initiative but will seek assistance where required
  • A full driver’s license
