About the role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Storeperson to join our Hamilton Te-rapa site. If you are looking for a permanent, full-time position where you can contribute to a dynamic and growing organisation, then this role may be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch using forklift and overhead gantry crane
- Loading and unloading trucks using forklift and overhead gantry crane
- Receiving, checking and putting stock away
- Completing stock takes, and associated paperwork relating to the warehouse
- Contributing to continuous improvement to keep the warehouse running smoothly
- Keeping warehouse spaces tidy, organised, and safe at all times
Hours of Work: 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday
We are ideally looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Must have a clean full driver's licence, F-endorsement is preferred and makes you a standout candidate
- Strong work ethic, reliability and is comfortable with a physically demanding role
- You are solution-focused and resilient under pressure
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work.
- A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to tackle various tasks
- Experience with Gantry Crane operation preferred but not essential
- Computer literate and excellent communication skills
