About the role: 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Storeperson to join our Hamilton Te-rapa site.  If you are looking for a permanent, full-time position where you can contribute to a dynamic and growing organisation, then this role may be the perfect fit for you. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch using forklift and overhead gantry crane 
• Loading and unloading trucks using forklift and overhead gantry crane
• Receiving, checking and putting stock away
• Completing stock takes, and associated paperwork relating to the warehouse
• Contributing to continuous improvement to keep the warehouse running smoothly
• Keeping warehouse spaces tidy, organised, and safe at all times

Hours of Work: 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday

We are ideally looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Must have a clean full driver's licence, F-endorsement is preferred and makes you a standout candidate
• Strong work ethic, reliability and is comfortable with a physically demanding role
• You are solution-focused and resilient under pressure
• A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work.
• A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to tackle various tasks
• Experience with Gantry Crane operation preferred but not essential 
• Computer literate and excellent communication skills
