About the Role

In this role, you will cover the Marlborough, West Coast and Kaikoura regions through to Timaru, with a primary focus on Pipes, Valves & Fittings, and Civil & Water. If you have sales experience and are looking to further develop your skills across the Civil, Water, Energy and Process sectors, this is an excellent opportunity.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining sales of core products
• Providing a high level of customer care and technical expertise
• Building new profitable business relationships while strengthening existing customer relationships

 About You

• Demonstrated sales experience in a similar or related industry
• A real customer focus and people approach, strong resilience
• Excellent work ethic, communication, and interpersonal skills – especially to be able to make cold calls and connect with existing customers
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Experience using a CRM system is desirable
• A drive to succeed and passion for our products and company
• Full drivers license to do road calls
• Product experience would be advantageous
