As part of our ongoing recruitment strategy, we are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced Gantry Crane Operators who would like to be considered for current and upcoming opportunities across our Asmuss sites. 

About the Role

As a Gantry Crane Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the handling, movement, and dispatch of steel products while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service. 

Key Accountabilities 

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch using the Overhead Gantry Crane and Forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks of steel using crane and forklift
• Receiving inwards goods
• Completing stock takes, and associated paperwork relating to the warehouse

The following attributes are essential for the right person:

• Gantry Crane certificate or willing to obtain if you have relevant Gantry Crane experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment or similar 
• Current forklift driver's license 
• Current full driver's license
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
