We’re looking for an experienced and confident Storeperson who can hit the ground running – someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to take on hands-on work.  To the right candidate we have a few areas they can slot into and make their mark. 

The role is day shift and full-time from 8am – 430pm Monday to Friday.  

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

You’ll be involved in all aspects of stock handling, from inwards to outwards, including: 

  • Receiving, checking, barcoding, and putting stock away. 

  • Picking and packing orders in a timely manner. 

  • Ability to use all the warehouse mobile equipment including forkhoist & reach truck. 

  • Keeping warehouse spaces tidy, organised, and safe at all times. 

  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries. 

  • Supporting stocktakes and inventory checks, and reporting any discrepancies. 

  • Pitching in with general warehouse tasks to keep things running smoothly. 

  • Willingness to learn and help out in the blast booth & powder coating plant a bonus. 

 

We are ideally looking for someone who has: 

  • 2-5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, especially with a forklift  

  • Must have a clean full driver's licence – F-endorsement is preferred and makes you a standout candidate, but not essential.

  • Manufacturing, QA or Ministry of Primary Industries (MAF/MPI) experience is preferred 

  • Computer literate and excellent communication skills 

  • Ability to be in a physically demanding job and on your feet 

  • You are solution-focused and resilient under pressure 

  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work. 

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic  

  • A hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to tackle various tasks 

  • Sandblasting experience or a willingness to learn is a big plus.
