Responsibilities include:

• Daily meetings with Dispatcher to review requirements and details of expected loading times to prepare for the shift
• Accurately identify correct product as per the written instruction
• Prepare loads in advance to ensure the availability and accessibility of product prior to loading times
• Safely load trucks, ensuring loads are inspected, QA documentation is completed and any discrepancies reported to the Dispatcher
• Using chainsaw to cut pipes to size as required
• General housekeeping duties including safe stacking of product, yard cleaning and rubbish disposal

The following attributes are essential for the right person:

• Experience working as a Yardperson and comfortable using counterbalance forklift / combi truck to lift long pipes weighing up to 4.5 tonnes would be advantageous
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Current full driver's license
• Forklift license with F endorsement would be advantageous
• Computor savvy
• Commitment to Health & Safety

Our current manufacturing site based in Te Rapa will be relocating to a new facility based in Hamilton region.
