We’re looking for an experienced and confident Warehouse Administrator to join our high performing team in Christchurch. At Asmuss, we take pride in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring every job is completed to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for a confident, well-organised Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced Warehouse environment and enjoys supporting operational teams. The role is full-time from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Assists with stocktake reconciliations and contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the inventory system.
- Answer the warehouse phone and respond to, or direct, customer enquiries accordingly.
- Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Process outbound packing slips in line with company procedures and enter dispatch details accurately.
- Support all warehouse administration functions, such as Health and Safety administration.
- Provide back up support to the Operation Leads and other members as required.
We are ideally looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a similar position, Logistics or Operations Industry experience is beneficial!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong computer proficiency
- ERP System experience is preferred but not essential, we have recently launched Dynamics365
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work
- You are solution-focused and resilient under pressure
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
